Happy New Year 2026 🎉
Cheers to the Next 365 Days
Happy New Year, friend! 🥂
Here’s to a fresh start, a clean calendar, and 365 brand-new chances to do our best.
Now let me be honest for a second…
Am I into big, dramatic New Year’s resolutions? Nope. Not my thing. 👩🏻🦱
I’ve learned that life happens, plans change, and perfection is wildly overrated. Instead of setting rigid resolutions, I try to focus on showing up and doing my best each day. Some days that looks amazing. Other days… well, everyone got fed, and that counts. 😉
If you’re someone who loves setting New Year’s goals, truly—kudos to you! 👏 And if you’re more of a “let’s ease into this year and see how it goes” kind of person, you’re definitely not alone.
If one thing you’d like to get better at this year is meal planning or meal prepping, I want you to hear this loud and clear:
👉 You don’t have to do it all. And you definitely don’t have to do it all at once.
Meal planning sounds great in theory, but in real life it can feel overwhelming fast. New routines, busy schedules, picky eaters, long days—it adds up. That’s why my biggest piece of advice is to start slow and take baby steps.
Instead of planning every single dinner for the week, try this:
- Pick just two meals to plan this week
- Get all the ingredients ahead of time
- Prep anything you can in advance—chopping veggies, cooking protein, or mixing up a sauce
Those small steps make a huge difference.
Because let’s be real for a minute… after a long day, it’s incredibly easy to talk yourself out of cooking dinner and talk yourself into the drive-thru 🚗💨—especially when dinner still feels like a dozen steps away. But when part of the work is already done? Cooking suddenly feels doable. Sometimes even easy.
And trust me when I say this:
✨ A little bit of pre-planning is sooooo worth it. ✨
Less stress at 5:30.
Fewer “what are we eating?” debates.
More confidence in the kitchen.
And more nights where you think, “Wow… I’m really glad I did that.”
So here’s to 2026—not a year of perfection, but a year of progress. One meal, one plan, one small win at a time. And if you want help getting started, I’ve got you covered.

Cheers to the next 365 days! 🥂
